SBTB 13-Disk Complete Collection DVD Set Coming Soon?

TV Shows On DVD.com is reporting Saved by the Bell - A DVD Release for 'The Complete Collection' is Coming. A 13-disc set is up for pre-order at Amazon's Canadian branch.

"From 2003 to 2005, Lionsgate released 3 DVD sets which together contained all 5 seasons of Saved by the Bell, the original show starring Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Dustin Diamond, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies and Dennis Haskins. This unfortunately did NOT include the one season of the original show, Good Morning, Miss Bliss, which later became Saved by the Bell (and is counted as part of that show by many fans)...those home video rights lay elsewhere. However, in 2007 Lionsgate also released a "double feature" DVD of the two post-series reunion telefilms: "Hawaiian Style / Wedding In Las Vegas." All 4 titles were available in both the USA and Canada.

Now we're grateful to one of our longtime readers, Alexander Ricci, for the heads up that a new listing at Amazon.ca (the Canadian branch of the big e-tailer) shows a March 12 release date for "Saved by the Bell - The Complete Collection." It's marked there as a 13-disc set, which is just enough DVDs to cover the disc count of the 4 previous releases (5 discs + 4 discs + 3 discs + 1 disc = 13). Cost shown is CA$61.99 SRP, and you can pre-order it now at a discount that brings it down into the same current price range of the old separate titles.

There's no package art shown there yet. The state-side branch of Amazon doesn't show a listing for the title at this time, and the Canadian listing neglects to name a studio or distributor. Assuming it's still Lionsgate, the studio hasn't made any formal announcement for the product yet. And the date shown in Amazon.ca's pre-order listing is a Monday; we all know that in-store DVD sets come out on Tuesdays. So we do expect the date to change when the title is officially announced (our guess is that Amazon accidentally used the "order due" date, which is the deadline day roughly 30 days prior to the street date in which retailers must submit their finalized product orders to studios/distributors in order for deliveries to arrive on time).

Tiffani Thiessen: 'I don't want or need Saved By The Bell reunion'

Tiffani has insisted that she has no interest in a Saved By The Bell reunion.

Late Night host Jimmy Fallon has been the chief proponent of Thiessen reuniting with Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Mario Lopez for a new one-off Saved By The Bell episode, but the actress has now told Parade that it will likely never happen.

"It's not something I want or need to do, and a few of us feel the same way. We're all doing our own thing," Thiessen said, adding: "Jimmy's never called me personally, only his producers. He might be a little harder to turn down."

Thiessen also revealed that she's never read co-star Dustin Diamond's tell-all biography Behind the Bell, which dished dirt on Saved By The Bell's cast.

"My time is very precious these days, and that's not how I want to spend it," she said.

Saved By The Bell ran for five seasons between 1989 and 1992 and even spun off a College Years series.

Thiessen's co-star Elizabeth Berkley said last year that she would be in favor of a Saved By The Bell reunion show.

BELL premiered 22 years ago on this day, August 20, 1989! Can you believe it has been that long ago now? And we continue to have a love affair with this show till this day. BELL is more popular than ever!

Did you know? The episode to premiere was "Dancing to the Max", featuring Casey Kasem! BELL premiered during NBC's summer prime time slot at 8:30PM.

I am so excited to share with the fans something that BLEW ME AWAY! I know I said that about the discovery of the long, lost "NBC's Who Shrunk Saturday Morning"! But I don't think I've ever seen something so rare like this! ah! Goosebumps!

I found this video clip by accident. In this clip for "The Insider", the cast members are on the set being interviewed about their characters and we even see them rehearsing their lines for "The Mama's and Papa's" episode! The kids are so cute and innocent, and Dennis Haskins is so proud and enthusiastic about BELL! This is a very, rare, treat from the BELL vaults. Enjoy it fans! TBS Makes Some Changes

As many of you know, TBS has plans to remove BELL from their week day morning lineup beginning on September 26. We had no idea if it would be back from hiatus, knowing that the contract would expire in March 2012. But we were filled in with an update that TBS had changed their fall 2011 schedule by Sitcoms Online.

They write: "Weekends will also change some, with more sitcom airings! The biggest note on weekends is that Saved by the Bell will air Sundays from 6am-8am! It's not leaving the schedule after all now, but it will only be on Sundays now starting Oct. 9. Screech and the gang will lead into two-hours of Friends from 8am-10am and Home Improvement in the 10am hour, before movies air the rest of the day on Sundays."

What do you think about this change? Although, we are relieved they are at least keeping it on for now, fans still want it back to where it belongs....every weekday morning! Check out what fans are saying here. We still have questions, too. What will happen in March 2012? Will TBS renew? Are they listening to our Facebook campaign?

Mark-Paul Gosselaar has found a new love and is getting married to advertising executive Catriona McGinn, PEOPLE has exclusively learned.

Gosselaar, 36, whose divorce from Lisa Ann Russell was finalized in May, proposed recently with a 5 carat cushion-cut diamond ring, custom designed by his friend, jeweler Neil Lane.

"He couldn't wait to propose," Lane tells PEOPLE. "He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams."

The former star of Saved by the Bell and current star of Franklin & Bash has two children, son Michael, 7, and daughter Ava, 5, from his marriage to Russell.

No wedding date has been set.

Saved by the Bell was voted the Best School TV Show of All Time in a Bing survey. While Zack Morris, A.C. Slater, and Screech garnered 35 percent of the vote, the kids at West Beverly High came in a close second. Thirty-one percent of those polled thought the original Beverly Hills, 90210 (which aired from 1990 to 2000) was the best school television show ever.

SBTB NOW CAMPAIGN: Saving SAVED BY THE BELL on TBS

For the first time in 20 years, Saved by the Bell may not have a regular home on TV.

Starting September 26th, TBS will no longer air Saved by the Bell in the 8am slot. According to Sitcoms Online: "Starting Monday, Sept. 26, we have these changes. Saved by the Bell fans you know you lost the 7am hour to Home Improvement earlier this year, but now the comedy will lose its 8am hour as well, as Fresh Prince of Bel-Air will move to the 8am hour. It seems as if the Saved by the Bell contract will be expiring from the network, as it is not on the line-up anymore. We are not 100% sure if the contract is expiring, but we will find out soon. The last time the contract was renewed was in Fall 2006. The series has been on TBS since 1992.
UPDATE: The Saved by the Bell contract is expiring in March 2012, so it will be on hiatus for now."

The news isn’t all that surprising to us at all. If you remember earlier this year we started this campaign when SBTB’s traditional 2 hour morning block was cut short to make way for Home Improvement in the 7am hour. With no slot on the schedule, what will become of the iconic ’90s series? Well TBS’ contract for the syndication rights expires in March of 2012 and, as of now, it doesn’t look like TBS has any plans to renew them, so it is unclear on if we will ever see Bell in a regular time slot again.

TV Actor Gosselaar Hits the Road for AIDs Research

Mark-Paul Gosselaar is keeping busy while on hiatus from his TNT "Franklin & Bash" dramedy by trekking across the East Coast on a motorcycle ride for charity.

Kiehl's skin care company's six-day LifeRide for amfAR raises money for AIDS research. The former star of "Saved by the Bell" is participating in the last three days of the ride starting Thursday — from Boston to New York City.

For Gosselaar, an avid motorcyclist, the event was a no-brainer.

"Setting a good example for my kids and leading by example is very important to me," said the father of two.

His love of motorcycles started young with his older brother Mike, a well-known motocross mechanic, teaching him to ride at age 3. Mark-Paul was competing in motocross races by the time he was 5.

The actor said in a Tuesday phone interview that he's passed the passion onto his children, Michael Charles, 7, and Ava Lorenn, 5.

"My son was riding by the time he was five," said Gosselaar. "I have pictures of me with him in a BabyBjorn, and I'm on my motorcycle, and that's the way that he would go to sleep. I'd ride around on my property at five miles an hour, but it was the noise and the wind that would put him to sleep."

Gosselaar is best-known for playing the precocious, bleach blond high schooler Zack Morris in the teen comedy "Saved by the Bell." It aired from 1989 to 1993. Fans continue to tell him how much they miss the show.

"I think what they're really trying to say is 'I miss the days where, the innocence of the days where you were watching it.' But not the show, because it's still on. It's on every channel, every morning and it's been on for the past 15 years ... How could you possibly miss it?" Gosselaar said.

He said even his kids watch "Saved By the Bell."
But the 37-year-old insists a reunion special isn't likely.

"I've always thought that it would come off as a bit too corny, and I don't want to put that sort of color onto 'Saved By the Bell.' I mean it's great for what it was," he said.

Gosselaar's offbeat legal comedy "Franklin & Bash" was recently picked up for a second season on TNT. Breckin Meyer co-stars in the series about a pair of ambulance-chasing attorneys who will do anything for their clients.

Long, lost NBC's Who Shrunk Saturday Morning, with the SBTB cast!

This is something SBTB:NOW! fans have discussed and wondered about on our forum for as long as I could remember! It's almost like a long, lost episode. I got chills watching it! Below you will find a very special treat that has surfaced on YouTube. You will even learn the fictional story of how SAVED BY THE BELL got it's name! This is a special NBC aired to introduce the brand new Saturday morning lineup in 1989. "NBC's Who Shrunk Saturday Morning" featured the cast of BELL sharing with us the new shows that included, Alf Tales, Karate Kid Cartoon, The Smurfs, Camp Candy, Captain and the Game Master, The Chipmunks, and Saved by the Bell. Appearances by John Candy, Marcia Warfield, John Moschitta (who later played Mr. Testaverde on BELL), and Sherman Hemsley. This only aired one time on September 13, 1989.

"Extra's" Mario Lopez reunited with his old "Saved by the Bell" castmate Mark Paul Gosselaar at The Grove -- and answered some fan questions!

It's been 17 years since Lopez and Gosselaar starred as AC Slater and Zack Morris on "Saved by the Bell." Were there any serious romances behind the scenes? "I don't know if there were romances," laughed Gosselaar. Lopez added, "Yeah, romance is a strong word." Gosselaar said it was more "Giggly, fun." Lopez continued, "Fun's a good word. We'll go with fun!"

Gosselaar will be starring in the upcoming TNT show "Franklin and Bash" with Breckin Meyer, playing a smooth-talking lawyer. "My guy is a bit more slick in court, connects with jury better, off the cuff more in court."

"Franklin and Bash" premieres June 1 at 9:00 PM on TNT.

Irene, a BELL fan from the original days, has written to share with a fond memory from her childhood when she got the chance to meet Mark-Paul and Tiffani in France! Irene, I can totally relate to your fondness of the show. I am almost 30 years old and BELL still holds a special place in my heart. I just can't seem to give up this little fansite I started 10 years ago! Enjoy everyone.... -Erika

Irene writes:

It was 20 years ago. I got a call one day after school telling me that I had won a television contest and would get to have dinner with my idols, Tiffani Thiessen and Mark-Paul Gosselaar. Some screaming and jumping up and down followed before my mother eventually calmed me down and celebrated with me.

My passion for Zack Morris started with the show “Good Morning Miss Bliss”, and soon my days were all revolving around “Saved By The Bell”. My friends and I would all rush home after school to watch a new episode and talk about it first thing in the morning the next day. I don’t think people know how popular SBTB was in France at that time, and that Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen and the rest of the cast were featured in teen magazines every week.

It was 20 years ago. We were six lucky kids waiting in a private dining room at the Hard Rock Café in Paris, magazines, pens and disposable cameras at hand, our hearts pounding and yes, some of us sweating excessively. And then they appeared. Of course it was surreal and my feet didn’t touch ground for two hours. Few of us spoke English so the conversations were short and awkward at times. But Tiffani and Mark-Paul, who had brought along his equally kind and beautiful mother, were very generous with us all.

I’m 34 years old now. I’ve watched all the episodes of SBTB, still remember some of them more vividly than I would like to admit as well as the lyrics of the song “Friends Forever”. It was 20 years ago. And it is still one of my fondest memories ever.

We have another SBTB:NOW! member who had the opportunity to meet Elizabeth Berkley during her book tour for "Ask Elizabeth"! Elizabeth made a stop at her home state Michigan on March 30. Renee, a native of Elizabeth's hometown Farmington Hills, made it to her book signing and is kind enough to share her experience with us! enjoy!

Renee writes:

"Meeting Elizabeth Berkley was an amazing experience and a childhood dream come true! When she first walked in she said hi to her family all waiting there to see her (this is the town she grew up in which is the same as mine). She announced that she just found out her book was #4 on the NY Times best seller list! It was so cool to be there with her right when she, like the rest of us, just found out! Then she made a little speech talking about the book and how great it was to be back in her home town sharing this with us. She said it was such a full circle moment. After she talked for a bit she took a few questions from the audience. When she was done she starting signing books. When it was my turn I mentioned I had written her on FB a few months ago about coming here on her book tour and she said omg that was you? with a big smile on her face! I was so touched she remember who I was. She told me to write her a note on FB saying who I was and that I was there. :) We talked for a bit. I brought one of my sbtb books for her to sign(it has her on the cover) she said how cool it was to see that since she hadn't seen it in such a long time! She even flipped through it a bit. She signed both books for me and let me take a picture with her and even asked if it came out well. All in all it was an awesome experience and I am an even bigger fan of hers than I was before. She really is beautiful inside and out! She is making her home town proud! The book is great too. Wish I had had it when I was a teen. Still very useful though even if you are a bit older. :)"

Elizabeth Berkley expected her 1995 box-office flop Showgirls to transform her from Saved By The Bell actress into a major movie star. But when that didn’t turn out exactly as planned, it gave her the opportunity to take a different path that led her to become a best-selling author and motivational speaker.

The married actress, 38, gets real about dealing with life’s ups and downs, and offers tips about how to move forward effectively.

Although Showgirls has secured a place in history as a cult favorite, the NC-17 drama bombed in the theaters. How did she cope?

“Honestly, it was definitely a time that was difficult, but everybody goes through difficult times,” she tells me during her Ask Elizabeth book signing held this week at Dylan’s Candy Bar in NYC. “Mine happened to be in public, so it was even harder. Most of us, when we go through stuff, we can hide in our bedroom and no one knows about it, so I definitely had to walk through a bit more difficulty because it was public, but it made me so strong.”

She adds, “The greatest gift I got from that at such a young age was self-awareness, and true self-worth. Almost like having self-esteem and faith in myself tested in a big way, but for me, it was a choice. I could go down one road or another, and for me, I went down the more empowered road. I’m grateful it gave me the strength I have, that kind of authority in myself to know that I can handle anything.”

As women, we place great pressure on ourselves throughout our lives to get – and keep – the right guy, have the perfect family, the amazing career, and all kinds of material things. But bumps happen, and can derail our intentions.

What does she tell others about managing the expectations of their lives?

“Expectations can usually cause a lot of suffering, and can also block something amazing that wants to come through, if you’re attached to that one way,” she says. “For me, I love my acting, and I will continue working and all, but who knew that this wonderful surprise of [motivational series] Ask Elizabeth was another aspect of my life? It’s important to remain open to the adventures that life brings along your path. While it’s great to be goal-oriented and focused – I have that drive and focus – it’s also important to be flexible enough to be open to something maybe even greater than you imagined.”

For Elizabeth, what’s greater than she imagined is Ask Elizabeth, which is a program she began in 2006 to help teen girls with their self-esteem. The book of the same name is out now.

“My proudest moment might be right now,” she says, on a break between signing books as her doting husband, Greg Lauren (nephew of designer Ralph), entertains guests. “Seeing girls that I’ve worked with for almost five years walk through this line with a self-assuredness and a pride. I’m proud of them for being published. I’m proud of them being part of a book that is reaching and helping girls they may never meet in their lives. Especially because Ask Elizabeth started in New York, so I’ve seen girls from eighth grade now who are freshmen in college. That’s a prideful moment for me. To see them hold the book, they’ve been such a big part of it.”

She continues, “I’m also moved by the fact that the book made the best-seller list. It’s #4 on the best-seller list. What moves me about that is the over 30,000 girls I’ve worked with, know what the work can do. I’m grateful it’s going to be able to reach every girl that needs it now.”

Not only is Elizabeth making waves in the book world, but MTV has shot a documentary based on the journey of Ask Elizabeth about how the program has helped a specific girl.

What’s the most common issue young women face nowadays?

“The book explores fifteen of the most-asked questions from my workshop,” she says. “I’ve facilitated my workshops for five years now, for over 30,000 girls across the country – soon to be 40,000 – doing 1,000-girl Town Halls in ten cities. Macy’s is sponsoring my tour, and they’re gifting the book. But from those workshops, there is this collective group of questions that get asked over and over, so I boiled it down to the fifteen most-asked, and that’s what’s in the book. The themes address body image, goal-setting, family, identity, friendship issues…the emotional life of a teen girl. We’ve all been there. And we still go through some of that stuff. There’s an adolescent girl, still, in all of us … wouldn’t you say?”

And at 38, that adolescent girl inside Elizabeth would be attending her 20th high school reunion.

While Elizabeth is pleased with her present, she reflects fondly on her past that includes the 1989-1993 teen sitcom Saved By The Bell, which also starred Mario Lopez, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Dustin Diamond.

“It’s sweet,” she says of her relationship with her Saved By The Bell cast mates, minus Dustin, whom she hasn’t seen in a long time. “It has a sweetness like people you went to high school with that you were so close with. We have a bond forever. We became famous together, we had our first, big, professional job together, we were 15,16, 17 … those years of our life. It’s something that connects us forever, and I still keep in touch with Mario, Mark-Paul and Tiffani. We are in each other’s lives as much as we can. We’re all, luckily, working so much, so it’s nice that we all transitioned into working adults, which is rare.”

She continues, “We were blessed with that. We also all had good parents who were very present for us, so that’s a big thing.”

Their fame was nothing compared to what stars face today.

“The Internet and the exposure is something different,” she admits. “Saved By The Bell was such an innocent time. We didn’t have paparazzi, we didn’t have the Web and gossip. We were insular. It was a safe, protected time. It wasn’t as difficult as it is now for young stars.”

Actress and bestselling author Elizabeth Berkley stopped by The Grove to catch up with her former "Saved by the Bell" costar, "Extra's" own Mario Lopez!

The two chatted about what a "Saved by the Bell" reunion show would be like. "I already thought of it like this," Lopez began. "You and I would come from some failed marriages and ultimately end up together." Berkley chimed in, "And you'd still call me Mama?" Mario replied, "I'd still call you Mama."

The actress also talked about her book, "Ask Elizabeth," which is now No. 4 on the New York Times Bestsellers list. "Five years ago, I had this idea to create this interactive self-esteem workshop for adolescent girls," explained Berkley. "The book takes the most-asked questions from these workshops. It combines advice and stories from me and from girls across the country and a dream team of experts."

As for showing off some moves on the dance floor, Berkley said she'd love to do "Dancing with the Stars." I would do it in a second, are you kidding me?"

We were able to get in contact with the film makers, Lyon Productions, who are getting ready to begin shooting the new comedy/horror flick "Little Creeps", which has casted Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond. We asked about their roles in the movie and were even told that they are interested in casting one more BELLER in the film. They don't know who, just yet, but will let us know if it happens. Our thanks goes out to Brad at Lyon Productions for graciously answered my questions!

"Dustin Diamond and Lark Voorhies are both outstanding talents I'm looking forward to working with. I've had the pleasure of doing so with Dustin Diamond before as he played a supporting role in Minor League: A Football Story, a film I wrote and Executive Produced some time ago. I also played a role in that project and was in a scene opposite Dustin. He is an exceptional talent, and though I'm sure some of your "less informed" readers may want to argue this point, but he is honestly one of the classier and more pleasant talents I've had the opportunity to work with. That does say a lot, after all the list of name actors I've had the pleasure, and at times displeasure, of working with is rather long.

Dustin is playing the role of Professor Donnely, a faculty member at the local college where much of the film takes place. This is a role he also portrays in College Fright Night, which Little Creeps is a form of prequel to. The Dean of the college is portrayed by Lark Voorhies, who serves as Dustin's boss as well as Robert Z'Dars and briefly Lee Arenberg's who she eventually fires early in the film.

Your readers should get the opportunity to rent Little Creeps right off the shelf nation wide and hopefully will be able to purchase it at the majority of the retailers around the world. We hope for a limited theatrical release on some level. Lyon Productions does offer a distribution service from a four walling stand point for small theatrical release on limited screens so this may be a route we go.

I had first cast Dustin in this film having worked with him previously and being highly impressed with both his work and his work ethic. We later had the opportunity to cast Lark Voorhies as she was on our short list of actresses we felt would be an ideal fit for the character of the Dean in the film. Being a fan of Saved by the Bell myself it was hard to pass up."

Elizabeth Berkley called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” Thursday to talk about her ‘group diary’ for girls Ask Elizabeth, as well as the possibility of a “Saved By The Bell” Reunion.

“For the last five years I’ve been flying across the country working with almost 40,000 girls on their football fields, in their cafeterias, in their libraries facilitating this forum for them to speak about what’s really going on, and to help each other,” explained Berkley. “This is about girls having each others backs and sharing their stories.”

Ask Elizabeth is written in a unique diary format, as well as handwritten and discusses common questions or topics posed to Elizabeth during workshops including: body image, goal setting, family issues, and bullying. More importantly, Elizabeth stresses the book is not simply topical, but also a resource full of tools and ‘action steps’ to assist the average teenage girl.

When asked regarding Jimmy Fallon’s attempts to reunite the cast of “Saved By the Bell” Elizabeth stated, “I would be up for it again! People’s schedules have been crazy, but still I think we got to make it happen.”

More and more news articles are confirming that Lark Voorhies and Dustin Diamond are reuniting to work on a independent horror/comedy flick called "Little Creeps"!

No word yet about the roles they will be playing. Among other familiar faces include,

Lee Arenberg (Pirates of the Caribbean) , Robert Z’Dar (Maniac Cop 1,2,3/Mobsters/Tango & Cash), and Jake the Snake Roberts (wrestling legend).

Here is the hypnosis:

Just because something is a myth doesn’t make it fiction. This is a philosophy that one eccentric college professor (Lee Arenberg) believes when it comes to the Demonicron, a book said to open the gates of Hell. When he somehow locates the book, he decides to conjure its demons to do his bidding. However, when he only manages to say half the words required to summon them, he gets only half size demons. This leads to an often comical romp as the demons show that though they are half size, they are twice the trouble.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar on ‘Saved by the Bell’s’ popularity

You often hear about former child stars who feel like their early work on a TV show typecast them for life and thwarted their career.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, who we first got to know as Zack Morris on Saved by the Bell, is not one of them.

He played Zack for seven years (starting with 1988′s Good Morning, Miss Bliss – as the show was originally called – right through Saved by the Bell: The College Years in 1994. He was the central character of a show that also launched future stars Mario Lopez, Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley.

Once it left the air, Mark-Paul kept busy doing TV movies (The Princess and the Marine), a feature film (Dead Man on Campus) and starred in two short-lived TV series (Hyperion Bay and D.C.)

Then in 2001 came the breakthrough role of Det. John Clark on ABC’s NYPD Blue. For four seasons, Mark-Paul played Dennis Franz’s young partner and has not stopped working since including roles on two follow-up series Commander In Chief and Raising the Bar.

I got the chance to chat with Mark-Paul last month at the TV Critics Association Press Tour where he was promoting his latest series Franklin & Bash. I wasn’t sure how open he’d be to talking about Saved by the Bell but I wanted to ask him if he was surprised by its enduring popularity with reruns on several times a day.

“Yeah I am surprised because the show didn’t get legs until we were finished shooting and it wasn’t until we were in syndication that it started taking off,” he explained. “We always thought we were going to be canceled after every season. It always seems to generate a new generation of viewers and it hasn’t stopped. I don’t know when it’s gonna stop. We still have 12 year olds now that are just finding it.”

It was refreshing to hear how much regard he still has for the show and at 36, he makes no attempt to distance himself from work he did as a teen.

“I’ve been lucky,” he said. “Because we started so young I’ve had a lot of time, I want to be in this industry for a long time whether it’s as an actor or a producer or a director. I like this industry and I’ve worked very hard to stay relevant in it. I’ve been fortunate.”

Breckin Meyer, who co-stars with Mark-Paul in the upcoming TBS series Franklin & Bash, joined our conversation at this point and observed: “One of the reasons you can poke fun at him about [Saved by the Bell] – and I do poke fun at him all the time about it – is because he’s worked so much other than that. It’s not like that’s all he’s done.”

Mark-Paul added: “Like [former Dawson's Creek star] James Van Der Beek who guest starred on our show as well. There’s another guy where we’ve had similar paths and he has a great attitude as well. So does [former Wonder Years star] Fred Savage who came on our show as well – and directed an episode. We’re all products of growing up in the industry and it’s nice to see that we’re still continuing to work. It’s refreshing.”

First Look at "Franklin & Bash"!

"Franklin & Bash" may sound like an unlicensed repossession company but as you can tell from this first look trailer, the TNT show is going to be a helluva lot more fun than watching some burly biker manhandle your unmentionables.

Kicking off this summer, the zippy lawyer series stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer as the titular trial-masters, who seem to be as comfortable passing the bar as they are bellied up to one.

This not only looks to be a perfect fit for the charming twosome, but it also meshes nicely with TNT's other ampersand show, "Rizzoli & Isles." Here's hoping their latent lesbian loving also translates to "Franklin & Bash!"

Where's Zack Morris when you really need him?

The police were called to Mullets Sports Bar & Restaurant in Homer Glen last week after a customer allegedly smashed a framed photograph of "Saved by the Bell" character A.C. Slater on the floor, the Chicago Tribune reports.
The man allegedly pulled the picture off the wall above a urinal and threw it to the ground. He then explained to the owner that he was not a fan of Slater, played by Mario Lopez in the popular series.
A Will County sheriff's police account shows that the man left the bar after someone else offered the owner $11 for the damage, according to the Tribune.

E! True Hollywood Story: Saved by the Bell

E! will re-air E! True Hollywood Story: Saved by the Bell this weekend, which originally premiered back on Dec 1, 2002. These documentaries normally reveal their subject's scandalous and racy pasts. But, you will not find that with SBTB's.

Originally, this special was supposed to air as part of E!'s TV Tales, a series that told the history of classic sitcoms. But while in production of the BELL version, the series was cancelled. Instead of scrapping all of their hard work all together, they decided to change some graphics around and air it as a E!:THS.

Secondly, in reality, a E!:THS of SBTB would have never really met their criteria of racy and scandalous story telling because there really isn't much trash to dish (contrary to Dustin's book of lies). So, that is why some of you might be expecting it and will be disappointed after you watch. We were lucky this even made it on air!

Lastly, I was contacted by E! to use my SBTB memorabilia for their shoot. A lot of what you see, (books, scripts, fan mail, etc) belong to me. So, here's a fun fact: yours truly is in the credits! :)

To catch this special again or to watch it for those who have never seen it, it will re-air on Sunday, Dec.19 at 7AM on E!.

She earned an Oscar nomination for 2009's "An Education" and has starred opposite actors like Michael Douglas, Johnny Depp and Jake Gyllenhaal, but the highlight of Carey Mulligan's career so far has been meeting Mario Lopez.

During a recent L.A. Times Young Hollywood roundtable chat, the 25-year-old British It girl revealed that she's had a crush on the "Saved by the Bell" star ever since she saw him at L.A.'s Muscle Beach during a family vacation when she was 11.

And to this day, she still gets flustered when she sees the "Extra" host at Hollywood events.

"All the way through awards season, every time we did a red carpet and I saw A.C. Slater, I was like a complete disaster," says the "Wall Street 2" star. "I went bright red… and they make you stand really close to these people - uncomfortably close - and because of the camera angles, I was always within sort of kissing distance."

Those intimate public moments have been the biggest perks of fame by far. "Every one of my dreams has come true this year, including that,” she says.

Hollywood production company Deviate Pictures today announced the launch of their newest web series, "Neighborhood Watch," which stars sitcom legend Dennis Haskins. Haskins, most famous for his eleven-year tenure as Bayside's Principal Belding on "Saved by the Bell," makes his first ever return to on-screen principal-ing since the popular show. Haskins' last web series, Acting School Academy, received over one-million views online.

"Neighborhood Watch," which debuted today, is about three fool-hardy men living in Sunnyvale – the safest town in America – who start a Neighborhood Watch as an excuse to avoid their wives. But when actual crimes begin to pop up, the men attempt to solve the mystery... very poorly.

The series, which stars many familiar comedy faces (Ron Babcock, Mike Mitchell, Ron Barba), is distributed by next-generation television network Blip.tv. In addition to featuring the series on their site, Blip.tv will distribute the show to partner sites and platforms including iTunes, Yahoo! and AOL Video, TiVo, Sony Bravia, Boxee, Verizon FiOS and the Roku Digital Video Player. The series will also be hosted on home site www.NeighborhoodWatchSeries.com

The series consists of 5 webisodes, being released every Monday in November. Each 3-4 minute episode features a petty crime that the Watch attempts to solve. As the series progresses, the Watch discover that the crimes make up one twisted plot, with its mastermind revealed in the finale.

Mario Lopez has been bitten by the daddy bug.

The Extra host, who welcomed 8-week-old daughter Gia Francesca with girlfriend Courtney Mazza in September, is already pressing for more kids — though he and Mazza apparently differ on just how soon that might happen.

“I definitely want more kids. I’d love three or four, to be honest,” Lopez, 37, says in an interview airing Friday on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

And how does Mazza feel about that? “She’s like, one at a time,” Lopez says. “She’s cool with that. She definitely wants them, but I kind of want them right away, and that’s where we have our differences.”

Lopez thinks it’s best for siblings to be close in age. “I was raised close in age,” he says. “When there is too much of a gap … I don’t know, I just think it would be cooler.”

Asked if he plans to propose to Mazza, his girlfriend of two years, Lopez replies: “If she’ll have me. The jury is still out on whether she wants to keep me.” He adds with a laugh: “She is, at least, stuck with me … because of the baby.”

Mario Lopez has cut a rug on "Dancing With the Stars," flashed his dreamy dimples as A.C. Slater on "Saved By the Bell" and regularly hangs with celebrities as the host of the syndicated TV series "Extra."

Now, Lopez is also starring in a new VH1 reality show, "Saved By the Baby," which premieres this week. In September, his long-time girlfriend, Courtney Mazza, gave birth to the couple's first child, daughter Gia Francesca Lopez, now 6 weeks old, and the show chronicles his countdown to fatherhood.

While sitting on the sidelines of the San Diego Chargers versus Tennessee Titans game in San Diego Oct. 30, with a Canon EOS Rebel camera in hand, Lopez (who hails from San Diego and is a Chargers fan) called ParentDish to gush about baby Gia and dish on his new show.

PD: Your former co-stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen are also parents. Did they give you any advice?
ML: Tiffani and I went through the experience around the same time. We are so thrilled to have babies around the same age. We can't wait to organize play dates soon.

Though Mark-Paul Gosselaar recently separated from Lisa Ann Russell, 38, his wife of 14 years, he isn’t letting it affect his job as a devoted dad to his son Michael, 6, and daughter Ava, 4. Mark-Paul makes being dad his No. 1 priority and he’s making a point to mark every milestone and make sure his kids don’t miss out on anything — including visits from the tooth fairy!

Mark-Paul exclusively told In Touch at the EMA Awards in Los Angeles, “The kids’ teeth are flying out and I am busy being the tooth fairy!” But Mark-Paul, 36, isn’t letting the tooth fairy spoil his kids, telling In Touch, “The tooth fairy gives them quarters for every tooth they’ve lost. We’re up to three, so that’s 75 cents.”

Mark-Paul tells In Touch that he hasn’t made a playdate with his old Bayside High classmates Mario Lopez and Tiffani Thiessen, but hopefully a class reunion soon will be in the works!

Mario Lopez: Fatherhood Is a Whole New Workout

Mario Lopez may getting less sleep these days now that he's a new dad but the Extra host is still hitting the gym – kind of.

"I'm definitely still working out, but I do less intense workouts because I'm not getting as much sleep now," Lopez tells PEOPLE during an appearance at Manor Nightclub in Chicago. "So the fitness [regimen] is still intact, but lately I just haven't been able to go at it as hard as I used to."

But the doting dad, whose daughter Gia was born Sept. 11, just couldn't be happier to be a father – with or without his signature six-pack abs. "I love [being a dad] more than anything," he says. "I absolutely can't wait to get home to see her – she's so amazing. The whole experience is so amazing."

Being a new parent isn't without its fair share of surprises, though.

"The biggest surprise about becoming a father was watching her being born because I didn't know if she was going to be girl or a boy," Lopez, 37, says.

Even though he didn't know the sex until the baby was born, he had a hunch it was a girl. "The way [girlfriend Courtney Mazza] was carrying and everything else, I had a feeling it was going to be a girl – and I was right."

As for diaper duty, Lopez says he's all over it. "Oh yeah, I'm definitely hands-on, changing the diapers and everything," he says.

And when it comes to keeping the romance alive with girlfriend Courtney Mazza, he's got that in the bag as well.

"I think it's definitely important to still do date night and keep the romance there," he says. "We are making an effort in that department."

Lopez will be letting the world see just how chaotic his life really is when his new reality show debuts on VH1 on Nov. 1. "Oh yeah, you'll see it all," says Lopez. "We did everything at once: new baby, new house, new puppy – lots of changes going on."

Mario Introduces Baby Gia Francesca!

Last month, Extra host Mario Lopez and girlfriend Courtney Mazza welcomed their first daughter to the world, Gia Francesca, born on September 11.

OK! has now revealed the first public photos of the adorable little girl, being held in the air by her adoring daddy. Mario, who's previously admitted to being on "diaper duty" is proud Gia has started to take after him in his second most-famous feature, his dimples! “She’s constantly changing,” he said. "But she’s got these slight dimples."

Mario tells OK! he is still in the "shocked, excited" stage of fatherhood but that he's not too out of place. He credits his upbringing saying: "“I come from a big, loud Mexican Catholic family. My sister also has three kids, so I’m used to a bunch of babies [being] around.”

Tiffani Launches Petit Nest, Modern Children's Nursery Line

As a new mom to 4-month-old daughter Harper Renn, Tiffani Thiessen has started to adjust to the sleepless nights and never-ending feeding schedule — sort of.

“I’m overwhelmed, but for all the right reasons,” she says. Now if only she could get her baby girl to slow down a little.

“She rolled over really quickly, which kind of scared the crap out of me,” says Thiessen, 36. “She’s already been scooting for a couple of weeks now! I think she’s going to be an early walker, which frightens me.”

Then again, Harper has to keep up with her busy mom: In addition to her role on USA’s White Collar, Thiessen is also launching a new children’s collection, PetitNest, which includes furniture, bedding and wall art.

The actress partnered with HGTV Design Star finalist Lonni Paul to create the collection, which shies away from the traditional baby blue and pink color palettes.

“We wanted our fabrics to be a little more sophisticated and less child-like,” says Paul, herself a mom to 4-year-old twins Jett and Sophie.

Adds Thiessen: “We didn’t want the typical, cliché baby furniture. It was important to us to have a style that appeals to people who are very much into the design world.”

Meanwhile, Harper’s already showing she has clear opinions of her own. “She does not take a bottle,” says the star. “She’s full-on breastfed. She’s all Mommy. It’s challenging for sure, but it’s what’s best for her.”

As for regaining her pre-baby shape, “I was working out with a trainer in New York and trying to do all that, but I’m giving myself a break and not going crazy — because I can’t. I can’t do that,” says Thiessen.

“My priority is her right now — and PetitNest! I’ve lost a lot of weight and I’ve still got a little bit more to go, but I’ll get there. And I’m okay with that.”

Diamond Facing Foreclosure, again!

Dustin Diamond's financial woes are stacking up - the former Saved By the Bell star has been hit with his second foreclosure warning this year.

The troubled actor has been served with legal papers from lawyers representing Wells Fargo Bank after allegedly racking up debts amounting to $278,309.

Diamond, best known for playing lovable geek Screech on the teen series, will be forced to move out of his home in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin if he fails to pay off the bill, reports TMZ.com.

It's the latest in a series of money worries for Diamond - he had a foreclosure scare in April when he was asked to pay $290,000. And in August last year, he was hit with a tax bill amid accusations he had run up debts of $21,015.
